Behind The Creator

Hello, my name is Celeste Rowan, well, at least my pen name is. I am a younger millennial who grew up in Maryland just outside of southeast D.C. Welcome to my blog. This is my little corner of the internet meant to build connection and community, based on the understanding that it is going to get messy, and no one has it all figured out. I spent my younger years aiming to write something worth wild, and I found it. What's better to write about than life itself? This blog’s focus is not only to give myself a place to follow my dreams, but to also provide vulnerability, insight, and curiosity to life itself. There's a section that focuses on my solo poly journey and a section that focuses on mindful living. They will be different, though. The main focus is not on how you get to where I am. But what does the actual journey look like? The answer is it’s messy, it’s beautiful, filled with highs and lows. Many posts will end with me not having an answer to the question I asked; some will end with me reflecting on things that I learned or am still working through. There is no shame in not having all of the answers, and we live in a world where we’re expected to have it all figured out by the age of 18. That's not how life works. I'd like to thank you for checking out my corner of the internet and hope that, if nothing else, it lets you know that in a world of people seemingly having all of their shit together, it’s okay not to have all of your shit together, because real humanity is not being perfect.
